In a rural town with no access to hospitals, Mr. Loh Yung Chai served tirelessly, offering affordable care to the community. For him, medicine was never business—it was a calling. His spirit of service became the seed of Fei Fah.

The Shop in Chinatown: Singapore, 1950

Mr. Loh’s son, Mr. Lau Keong Ying, opened a Fei Fah drugstore on South Bridge Road in Chinatown, Singapore.

Here, the roots of Fei Fah took shape. By listening closely to customers’ needs, he developed the signature Electric Medibalm a remedy that quickly earned the trust of the community.

In 1970, Fei Fah launched its first major product—the Electric Medibalm—a fast, convenient, and effective solution for pain relief.

By 1974, “Fei Fah” was trademarked, and our balm began its journey into homes across Asia and beyond, carried by travelers and loved by families.

Today, Fei Fah is led by Mr. Lawrence Lau, CEO and recipient of the Singapore Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2010). Under his leadership, Fei Fah continues to uphold its founding values while pioneering new wellness solutions.
